ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort in Anaheim said a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and slid down the attraction’s final roughly 50-foot drop Sunday, prompting cast members to stop the log-flume ride and send him to a hospital for evaluation as a precaution.

Disneyland officials said the boy was later released. The attraction stayed closed for the rest of Sunday after the incident.

California Division of Occupational Safety and Health inspected the ride afterward. Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek told NBC News inspectors “did not find any operational issues.”

Disneyland later said the ride had reopened after the inspection. For travelers planning a visit to the resort, the attraction was back in service after the state review.
