INGLEWOOD, Calif., June 26 (Our Los Angeles) — Türkiye scored late to beat the United States 3-2 in Los Angeles, but the result did not alter the Americans’ path to the round of 32, where they will face Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 1.

Kaan Ayhan delivered the winner in stoppage time after Auston Trusty and Sebastian Berhalter scored for the U.S. Arda Güler and Barış Alper Yılmaz scored for Türkiye.

The Americans had already clinched first place in Group D before the final group match, securing their place in the knockout stage with earlier wins over Paraguay and Australia.

The match drew 70,492 at the Los Angeles-area venue, according to the match report.
