NEW YORK, June 9 (DC Times Online) — President Donald Trump drew a mixed reception at Madison Square Garden when he was shown on the arena’s big screen during Game 3 of the NBA Finals, Fox News reported.

Trump attended the June 8 game in New York City between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs. A Getty Images photo caption by photographer Samuel Corum placed Trump at the start of Game 3.

Fox News reported that Trump appeared on the big screen during the national anthem. The outlet described the reaction as mixed, with some cheers and louder boos as Trump saluted from a suite.

Trump was shown with his granddaughter Kai Trump on one side and Knicks owner James Dolan on the other, according to Fox News.

The reaction at Madison Square Garden differed from the one Trump received earlier at the College Football Playoff national championship game at Hard Rock Stadium, Fox News reported. At that game, the crowd cheered when Trump appeared on the stadium video board during the national anthem, according to the outlet.

Fox News also reported that after Trump’s appearance on the screen, the arena video returned to the on-court ceremony, where NYPD officers were holding flags.
